in the air that we must breath it kills - indiscriminately

organs putrefy
how did this start?
we were just fine
where is our help?!
please save our lives!
But there is no escape
the plague has taken hold in every state
no government control
no where for us to go
a global pandemic like we have never known
we're running out of time
the numbers of the dead keep climbing
they're filling up the streets
and rotting
the world is burning down
no one to put it out
and the silence in streets
is growing

an epic saga swallowed up by the depths of time
once powerful and intelligent
they were brought down, by their own design

with good intentions they fought for a better life
but as we know, as power grows,
corruption is soon to follow

the fatal flaw of their kind
a war broke out unlike any of its kind
driven by greed they decimate many lives
and lo behold, the path they chose, left the world inhabitable
they could not see because they had killed the sky
they could not breath because their lungs filled with fire
where waters flowed - now only glowed
from radiation released on the globe
They killed their race, despite the waste, their senseless ways led to their erase
Due to their pride, their planet died, now there is nothing left to revive

When I'm listening to this album I think about how I would describe the sound. I imagine an incomprehensible creature slowly emerging from a dank and grimy subterranean tunnel, its dull claws slipping on wet stone, its lethargic weight crunching the grit of the tunnel floor. A crushing and horrifying force emerging from the darkness unrelenting. At least, that's how I feel about the album. ;) I highly recommend it.
